About
I'm Dominic, an engineer and founder who likes hard problems and high places.
Over the past few years I've shipped production AI systems used by Fortune 500 companies, co-founded three ventures, led architecture for engineering teams of up to eleven, and earned a stack of cloud certifications. I've also traveled to 10 countries, hung off the edge of the CN Tower, rappelled through a canyon in Costa Rica, and adopted a cat.
I believe the best engineers are the ones who stay curious about systems, about people, and about what’s around the next corner.
What I've built
Ventures
-
Raising seed · Beta waitlist open BusyBeacon · fCTO
The Real-Time Availability Ecosystem. A status-sharing platform that tells your family or your team whether you can be interrupted right now, with scheduling, shared profiles, and a physical device on the way.
- I lead the technical side as fractional CTO. The company is founded and led by its CEO.
- Currently raising a seed round. The beta launches July 2026 and the waitlist is open.
-
Exited CompQ · Founder
A marketplace connecting competitive Valorant players with high-ranked coaches, bootstrapped from zero to a successful exit.
- I built and ran it on no outside capital.
- I onboarded coaching contractors from more than 10 countries.
- It processed 50+ paid orders before the exit.
-
Grant-funded
Vibe Audio · Co-founder
A sound-snippet social platform for discovering music 15 seconds at a time, with listening parties, voice chat, and a custom streaming stack.
- We raised grant funding that covered two years of operations.
- We grew to 100+ monthly active users with a team of four.
- I built the FFMPEG audio pipeline that cut streaming bandwidth by 5x and deterred piracy, plus the WebRTC “Vibe Parties” feature for synchronized listening and voice chat.

What I built, and what changed because of it.

F500
Production LLM systems
I build AI systems that hold up in production. They run on every major provider (Gemini, Grok/xAI, Anthropic, AWS, OpenAI) and reason over both internal and external data. Fortune 500 companies use them today.
-
200k+
Policy analysis at scale
I architected the platform that a federal policy writing process runs on. It handles more than 200,000 public documents, and the recommendation tooling I built cut manual review hours by more than half over three years.
-
97%+
36 hours to under 60 minutes
I rebuilt an ingestion pipeline for unstructured text and images and took it from 36 hours to under an hour. The same dataset that used to arrive overnight is now available in real time.
-
11,500+
Onboarding, rebuilt
I built one onboarding portal for more than 11,500 people. It replaced a manual process spread across several systems that did not talk to each other.
-
N→1
Many sources, one search
For the US Government, I pulled disparate data sources and credentialing systems into a single real-time search. It runs as a discovery and eLearning platform, so people find what they need in one place.
-
6
Concept to authorization
I have taken six mission-critical platforms from first concept to MVP and through production authorization. All of it in highly regulated government environments, where getting approved to run is as much work as building the thing.
